Guiding Agents

You can send messages to agents while they work. Just type in the chat and your message will be seen by all agents. Want to talk to a specific one? Use @mentions.

How to guide agents

Agents adjust their work based on your input, so you can steer the process without starting over. Here are some examples:

You

"Also check Target"

All agents will add Target to their list of sites to check.

You

"@SearchAgent try flexible dates too"

Only the Search Agent will expand its search to include nearby dates.

You

"Focus on nonstop flights only"

Agents will filter out any options with layovers.

You

"I changed my mind — make it March 20-27 instead"

Agents will restart their search with the new dates.

You

"Can you also include reviews?"

A new step is added to gather review data from relevant sources.

Using @mentions

Each agent has a name (like "Search Agent" or "Compare Agent"). You can address a specific agent by using @mentions in the chat — for example: "@SearchAgent also check dates for next week."

When you @mention an agent, only that agent will act on your message. Without an @mention, your message goes to all agents.

When to guide vs. let agents work

Most of the time, you don't need to guide agents at all. They're designed to handle tasks autonomously. Guidance is most useful when:

  • You realize you forgot to mention something important
  • You want to narrow or expand the scope of the search
  • You see a finding in the chat that prompts a follow-up question
  • Your requirements change mid-task
